Challenge
Applications and settings managed through Configuration Manager needed to move to Intune. Installation behaviour, dependencies, detection rules and existing policies all needed to be reviewed.

Moving more than 200 applications, configurations and policies to Intune called for a setup the internal team could continue to maintain. Application packaging and PowerShell automation were central to the work.
Approach
The work was organised around individual migration components: prepare the packages, test installation and detection, assess policies and roll out in controlled stages. PowerShell and application packaging tools supported the delivery.
Result
More than 200 applications, configurations and policies were migrated. A custom packaging tool was also developed and is used by other endpoint engineers at the bank.
